At Optimum Pediatrics, our team of nurses and caregivers mean everything to us. Every day, we watch our nurses make a difference in the lives of medically fragile children, and we’ve witnessed firsthand the power of a relationship between a medical caregiver and a family in need of pediatric support.
On National Caregivers Day, we want to give a special shoutout to all the nurses and caregivers in the world who make a difference in children’s lives. Today, we honor the nurses who have made history and the nurses who are currently making history.
Celebrating Nurses Who Have Made History
From the pioneers of the medical industry to the first medical college professors, the nursing discipline has been forever changed by passionate nurses and scientists who have spread their knowledge and wisdom. On National Caregivers Day, we want to make sure we recognize those medical professionals who came before us and changed our industry for the better.
Chamberlin University is a highly respected nursing school located in Georgia, which is the same state that Optimum Pediatric Services serves. On this medical holiday, and in light of Black History Month, we want to highlight an article from Chamberlin University, honoring 10 famous black nurses in history.
Celebrating Nurses Who Are Currently Making History
On this day of recognition, we also applaud today’s nurses and caregivers who are making history as we speak. We believe that every pediatric nurse is making their own history by touching the lives of medically fragile children and their families, and we are proud of all the nurses in the world who are continually researching and learning for the benefit of their patients. At Optimum Pediatrics, we see the dedication and passion that each of our nurses brings to the table, and we could not be more thankful for our incredible medical team.
Help Us Celebrate National Caregivers Day
On National Caregivers Day, we encourage you to celebrate and show appreciation for the care providers in your life. The Optimum Pediatrics team believes that the patient-caregiver relationship is incredibly special, and we are proud to care for and support medically fragile children across the state of Georgia. Happy National Caregivers Day, everyone!
